What to
include on your display board
***Please make sure to
check your entry packet for specific details. Some
items may be restricted from your display and others may be
required. Below is a general overview of what most
display boards should include***
Start planning your
display as soon as you begin your project. Some items
you will want to includes are:
- Pictures taken during
your exeriment
- Data notebook or
background research notebook (put on the table with your
display board)
- Any equipment or
materials used in the experiment (as allowed in your
rules)
- Abstract or
Purpose
- Title (at the top of
the board as a header)
- Hypothesis
- Procedure
- Results
- Conclusions
- Applications
- Charts, graphs,
tables, or other visual aids
- Observations

Remember to make your
display neat and appealing to the eye! Make your entire
space eye catching and organized. Cover your table with
cloth or vinyl covering. You are part of the display too
so remember to dress nicely and don't chew gum or candy.
Be ready to describe or present your project to judges.
It may be a good idea to have index cards with notes to help
you remember to present all of your
information.
